ABOUT US

Dementia Training Ireland is led by Jackie O’Toole. Jackie O'Toole is a qualified RPN with a Post-Grad-Dip (nursing) in mental health of the older person from DCU.  She has nursed extensively in older person care, becoming a Clinical Nurse Specialist (therapeutic interventions) in the HSE.

She holds a certificate in, 'The Ageing Society' with the Open University and has qualified in Dementia Care Mapping (advanced level).  Jackie has been a Sonas aPc Trainer/Tutor for the past two years.

Jackie holds a certificate in adult training with Maynooth NUI and has recently studied Dementia-Care training with the Alzheimer's Society, UK.  She holds a Diploma and Level Certificate in Dementia Care Training form the University of Surrey.
